Services Overview

Seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist to assist with life's difficulties is a sign of courage and a step in a positive direction. Always ask about the therapist's special areas of expertise (e.g. couples counseling, grief counseling, individual counseling) before you engage them to ensure it's a right fit for you.  All Licensed Marriage, Family Therapists are educated in all areas of mental health such as depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, etc., but many choose to specialize in areas one feels more passionate about and also have taken extended classes in certain treatments.  Competent therapist do not tell you what to do, but provide you with questions and hypothesis to have you come to well thought out resolutions. I help clients work out solutions according to individual issues and take culture, values, beliefs and lifestyles into the process.

Individual Counseling

The individual circumstances that lead to one’s decision to pursue therapy are diverse and unique. Such seasons of life can be painful, disorienting, and lonely. I work with individuals on a range of issues, including life transitions, identity & spirituality questions, anxiety, and depression. Together, we’ll explore your unique experiences and create a safe environment to face life’s current challenges.

Loss and Grief

One thing we are all going to face in life is LOSS.  Often people think loss is only by death but everyday losses such
as health, divorce, loss of a job, finances, retirement, empty nest syndrome, youth, aging parents ,family and friends moving away, etc, can be difficult losses to cope with. We often need to obtain some perspective to help us move through life's changes.

Life Coach/Media Consulting

Life coaching has grown to be a hugely successful form of talking therapy, to the extent that it has helped turn people's lives around. A life coach is someone that looks to empower others by helping them make, meet and exceed goals in both their personal and professional lives.
