Services Overview

Seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist to assist with life's difficulties is a sign of courage and a step in a positive direction. Always ask about the therapist's special areas of expertise (e.g. couples counseling, grief counseling, individual counseling) before you engage them to ensure it's a right fit for you.  All Licensed Marriage, Family Therapists have a Masters or PhD degree and are educated in all areas of mental health such as relationships, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, etc. Many choose to specialize in areas one feels more passionate about and take additional education and extended classes to further their expertise. Licensed Marriage Family Therapist have had years of education and supervision unlike many that call themselves coaches. Coaches are not licensed to address mental health issues unless they also carry a state license to do so.  Competent therapists do not tell you what to do, but provide you with questions and hypothesis to have you come to well thought out resolutions. I help clients work out solutions according to the individuals issues and take into mind many factors such as culture, values, beliefs and lifestyles into the process.

Loss and Grief

One thing we are all going to face in life is LOSS.  Often people think loss is only by death but everyday losses such
as health, divorce, loss of a job, finances, retirement, empty nest syndrome, youth, aging parents ,family and friends moving away, etc, can be difficult losses to cope with. We often need to obtain some perspective to help us move through life's changes.

Life Coach/Media Consulting

Life coaching has grown to be a hugely successful form of talking therapy, to the extent that it has helped turn people's lives around. A life coach is someone that looks to empower others by helping them make, meet and exceed goals in both their personal and professional lives.
